Creekside Range Rules

* Creekside is a COLD RANGE. This means no loaded firearms of any type may be carried around the range.
* All firearms, unless being fired at a firing point, must have a chamber flag in them. Chamber flags are available in the range shack. Chamber flags go in the chamber not the muzzle.
*Pistols may be holstered with the slide locked to the rear and magazine out, or revolvers with the cylinder open.
*SAFETY IS THE FIRST PRIORITY
*EYE AND EAR PROTECTION REQUIRED
*Always know where your target is and what is behind it.
*COMMON SENSE IS EVERYONE BEST FRIEND
* Muzzle awareness is key/ always keep your muzzle pointed down range when on the firing line/ always transport flagged firearms with the muzzle up or muzzle down.
*No one goes down range until the line is cleared and all shooters are clear/cold and chamber flags are visible.
*No firearms are to be handled when firing range is cold. This means no one touches any firearm when the line is cold and no one pulls their firearm off the line when the line is cold.
*No magazines in rifles while chamber flags are inserted and do not load magazines into the firearms or load any firearms until you are ready to fire and on the firing line.
*IF YOU HAVE A MALFUNCTION OR A PROBLEM ON LINE, engage the firearm's safety, keep it pointed down range and ASK FOR ASSISTANCE
* IF YOU WITNESS ANY UNSAFE ACTS PLEASE NOTIFY THE RANGE MASTER, RANGE OFFICER FOR THAT RANGE, OR STAFF AT THE RANGE SHACK
*NO FIRING LINE WILL BE CALLED HOT OR COLD BY A SHOOTER. A CREEKSIDE STAFF MEMBER OR DESIGNATED RANGE OFFICER ON THAT RANGE WILL BE THE ONLY PERSON TO CALL THE LINE HOT OR COLD
*There will be no rapid fire on the rifle range. Shooters will not exceed 1 round every 3 seconds on the rifle range.
*There will be no SLIDE FIRE STOCKS allowed on the range. If you are caught with even set to the semi setting you will be asked to leave.
*The 50 and 100 yard line will go cold and hot at the same time.
*Pistols are not allowed to be shot on the rifle range. *No 50 BMG's are allowed to be shot on the range.
*The use of shotguns will be permitted only with the permission of the range master. You must pick up all your shotgun hulls before leaving the range. There will be an extra charge if you shoot shotguns at targets on a target stand.
*There is no automatic fire allowed unless you are cleared by Range personnel. You must be a member of the range and fire automatic in certain areas with permission only.
*YOU MUST CONTROL IMPACT, if rounds do not land in impact area you will be asked to CEASE FIRE.
*NO HIGH POWER FIREARMS OR RIFLES ARE TO BE FIRED AT METAL TARGETS. You must be cleared by the Range Master to shoot metal targets.
*NO CROSS SHOOTING, shoot only straight forward in your lane.
*ABSOLUTELY NO FOREIGN OBJECTS on the range. No targets on the ground or shooting at the ground.
*Only Cardboard from the Range Shack can be used as backers.
*You must have shoes that cover your entire feet on at all times when on the range. No sandals, crocks, flip flops, etc.
*No halter tops will can be worn while on the range. All shirts must be so that brass can't fall inside your shirt.
*If you hear an air horn then it is an automatic CEASE FIRE until the Range Master makes the range hot again.
*ALL MINORS must stay with an adult and NO PLAYING or RUNNING around.
*You must CLEAN UP your area when you finish. Pick up trash and return stands and backing to the Range SHACK.
*IF YOU ARE UNSAFE AND CANNOT GO BY THESE SIMPLE RULES THEN YOU WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE WITH NO REFUND.
*We are here to provide a pleasurable experience, but FIREARMS AND AMMO ARE TO BE TAKEN SERIOUSLY! ALWAYS PRACTICE SAFETY FIRST!!!
*IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS OR YOU ARE UNCERTAIN ABOUT ANYTHING AT THE RANGE, DON'T HESITATE TO ASK THE STAFF, THEY ARE THERE TO HELP YOU IN ANYWAY THEY CAN
